Hi, I'm Gigi 呂汶姿.
I am an industrial design graduate from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. My practice is heavily influenced by research, collaboration, and sustainable design principles. I am inspired by the fluidity of fabric and its versatility in both fashion and product design. I am dedicated to creating products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with a focus on enhancing human-centered experiences.
In the summertime, I immerse myself in nature—through hiking and sports—that spark inspiration and keep me energized. In the winter, I stay active with friends, share my creative medium of pottery, and nurture connections through cooking and exploring new cuisines. These diverse creative outlets fuel innovative thinking and allow me to bring fresh perspectives into my work.
Above all, I am committed to creating designs that are in harmony with nature and society. I am driven by honest communication and an entrepreneurial spirit, and I am always looking for new opportunities to connect with others and build lasting relationships.
On the side, I am one of three members of @TOMO.CUP, a pop-up café built from friendship and a love for meaningful connections. We’re all about filling cups and hearts — one drink at a time.
Let's connect!
